I saw them also in Brighton but thought it was the Dome. Probably memory playing me up.
Just a great unique sound. Loads of hits.

Definitely the Centre for me, '91 - i only remember as I was dragged along by the then g/f. Don't remember much about it, but if memory serves I gave a feeling they had Albert Collins playing guitar with them.

Mr and Mrs Imp also.

It was a bit of a surprise to see that they were no longer skinny lads - they did a sort of Nigel Lawson in reverse - but they sounded almost as good as they did on record, the mark of all those wonderful American performers who dominated the rock and roll years.

They're getting old now. I noticed that the "Rock 'n' Roll shouter from Macon Georgia" was 81 a few weeks ago. Old Richard doesn't have the same ring to it - he'll always be Little to some of us.
