Kingpin, whatever the f... that is.
Brilliant tackler. Good passer of a football. Team player. Bit of an Albion ledge.
But as a midfielder, what exactly does he do?

Exactly what you wrote prior to the question.

Oouses quality on and off the ball, tough time with all this speculation which has had an effect. I guess your asking the question because of the interest in him

As a so called 'holding' midfielder of some note, what exactly does he do?

Breaks up play, composes midfield and controls the game. Can also make creative passes forward. He's one of the best at doing what he does, especially at this level!

Here's a question for everyone - Bridcutt is rated as one of the best holding mids in the Championship, yet why do no Albion managers feel they can play him as a lone holding midfielder? There's always been someone fairly defensive minded next to him. Is this down to confidence in him or more down to our defence?

First season at the amex against west ham he was caught in possession in our third which led to them scoring and winning 1-0. If you watch the last game v bournemouth , Bridders fails to make the tackle against their central midfielder who strides forward in loads of space before picking our their striker who wins the pen.

Yeah he does get exposed every so often, the Bournemouth game more often than usual. I put that down to his mind being elsewhere but you are right about the west ham game too.

Do you think he could play in the premier league as a lone holding midfielder?

So he's fallible? Shocking. Next you'll be telling me Ulloa doesn't score with every shot.
