Might be a stupid question - pitch inspection?

But I have a long journey for the game today. Is there likely to be a pitch inspection due to sheer volume of surface water?
Don't want a wasted journey if there is a chance of a postponed match

There may be an inspection, but there's no chance it'll be postponed, it's one of the most state of the art pitches in the country (feel free to bump this post when it gets postponed)

Highly doubt the game will be called off. These conditions are no worse than the Huddersfield game.

The conditions may be similar but the sheer volume of rain in the last few days must be taking its toll on the pitch technology.

So far ... according to Beeb persistent heavy rain all day on top of what's come down the past week. Hopefully it drains to the sea!!

I'd say this is worse..winds stronger.. rains heavier and set to continue

Think I might head for the bridge car park today instead of walking from coldean

Alternatively, I think that the rain may be similar but the sheer volume of technology in the last few days must be taking its toll on the pitch conditions.

Reports coming in that the P&R at the Race Hill is resembling Glastonbury.
