My 9 year old boy likes stats, maths, facts and of course football. We watch match of the day religiously and he absolutely loves it. Most of all though he loves Brighton.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a book aimed at kids his age about the Brighton, the history of football, stats and records etc etc.

Thanks in advance

Try a Skysports yearbook, even though it is for adults the stats and line ups actually make it easy reading for kids and easy to dip in and out of. I got my first one when I was 11, still collect them now.

I think I have got most Of the books on the Albion but I haven't seen any aimed at kids with stats in but you could try looking for the following books.

Brighton & Hove Albion On This Day by Dan Tester.
Albion The First 100 Years by Paul Camillin and Stewart Weir.
Brighton & Hove Albion Miscellany by Paul Camillin.

The best books I have are by Tim Carder and Roger Harris called Seagulls! The Story of Brighton & Hove Albion and Albion A-z
A who's who of Brighton & Hove Albion.
Both books I have we're printed in 1993 and 1997 and no longer on sale, but may come up on e- bay.
