Blimey, that takes me back ! when I was at primary school a long long time ago, a kid used to be remarkably average at football until he tackled you. He would always give you a short arm jab to the guts as you tried to go past him, thus winning the ball. If he had the ball you would receive a quick jab as he went by, thus keeping the ball.
