Robert Lester "Bobby" Zamora (born 16 January 1981) is an English footballer who plays for Queens Park Rangers. Zamora began his career at Football League club Bristol Rovers, but was soon signed by Brighton & Hove Albion, where he found first team success. Zamora scored 77 goals in three seasons and helped the club achieve two successive promotions. He was also the inspiration for the Brighton based band called Zamora who had hits like the Shadowboxer and wold under my feet, also there bassiet is best known for his first name "Merlin Robertson"

Yep. That's up there with the 77 goals in my book.

I also find it slightly ironic that someone named after a magician can't spell.

For three years, I shared a house or flat with Merlin Robertson's dad. It's not his fault he's called Merlin. It's what happens when your parents move to Glastonbury.

D'oh! I had the feeling he had an inauspicious start. My mistake.
