Was El-Abd at fault for any of the goals conceded today?
He gave the free kick away for the third (unnecessary according to radio).
No he isn't. He was suspended v Bournemouth for 5 yellows. He is now on 6. He might not be fit though, as he was limping as he came off, according to the radio.

That is always frustrating but with conceding a free kick we do have time to regroup. I would leave El-Abd in the side as I don't think he is any worse than Greer.
I wouldn't. El Abd is a penalty waiting to happen and is even slower than Greer. Be interesting to see who left the Charlton players unmarked for the first two goals.

The radio didnt say as such but inferred that Brezovan could and should have done better with the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Totally agree, he should have been in today, why did we need to wait for Brez to have a mare (if he did have one today). Koosh is head and shoulders the best keeper. Don't get this Brez has done nothing wrong rubbish.

To a certain degree I can see the point of keeping the shirt for outfield players but when you have a player so obviously superior to his understudy then bring him back ASAP

Totally agree with you. Can't understand why so many posters have him in their side. He offers so little and has done for far too long. What has happened to that exciting attacking player of the first 6 months of his Albion career? Looks devoid of pace, ideas, effort and ability. I hope every time he plays he will recapture that form but alas not to be.
