How long have you had it? I wouldn't use one after about six months, cos of lack of flavour etc, but it wouldn't give you food poisoning, just wouldn't be very nice, freezer burn etc

Turkey can be stored in the freezer (unopened and uninterrupted) for up to 2-3 years and still be safe to cook. However, for the best quality, we recommend using the frozen turkey within 7 months of storage.

Well it said six months on the label, but I only put it in last week, took it out this afternoon........ And it was dead !!!!


I'll get me coat.

If they can dig a Woolly Mammoth out of the permafrost in Siberia and eat it about 40,000 years past it's sell by date, I think you should be fine.
