Gordon Greer will not be fit to return tomorrow
Albion will be without Gordon Greer again for Huddersfield’s visit tomorrow.
The skipper has suffered a setback in his attempt to shake off a calf injury.
But Tomasz Kuszczak is fit again and likely to return in goal.
Greer was forced off in the early stages of the last home match against Leicester and missed last Saturday’s win at Middlesbrough.
Head coach Oscar Garcia revealed to The Argus: “Gordon’s had a setback and he hasn’t taken part in training. He is working with the physios.”
Adam El-Abd deputises again for the Scottish international centre-half.
Kuszczak, meanwhile, has recovered from the strained stomach muscle which prompted his withdrawal during the warm-up against Leicester.
Oscar confirmed: “Tomasz has taken part in training and he will be available for selection.”
Peter Brezovan has performed well between the posts in Kuszczak’s absence.
Oscar said: “I have to make a decision. I’ll speak also with Ruben (Martinez, goalkeeping coach).”
Andrea Orlandi, who has been sidelined by knee swelling, has also returned to training.
Albion will wait to see if there is any reaction before deciding whether the Spanish midfielder has a chance of being on the bench.
