Breaking News on BBC that the roof has collapsed at the Apollo Theatre in London mid-performance this evening.

Theatre was reported as being full at the time.

Hopefully no one is badly hurt.

Apparently the balcony protected them.
"Amy Lecoz, who was at the theatre with her two children, aged 16 and 19, said: "The entire dome roof fell down on the audience just in front of us.

"We were protected by the balcony above and we ran. People started screaming."

999 services were also reported to have arrived within 3 minutes and that they were very well prepared and organised. Theatre staff quickly got people out too.

Yes, but other 999 services were on scene very quickly too, good response.

Up to 88 injured - 7 seriously - hope they make a full and quick recovery.
