Despite to all crap from England in recent years, to see them win the World Cup would still trump Albion winning the FA Cup. No other sporting feat would attract such a TV audience or have such an effect on the country.

I do think though Albion have a better chance of winning the FA Cup in 2014

Club comes first every time
Still love watching England but The ALBION to win any trophy would triumph anything that England ever achieved
Given the choice of ALBION getting promoted or England winning World Cup ( once again the ALBION promoted please )

Why can't we have the option of England win the world cup, Brighton promoted and FA cup winners? Plus if we had a real hot summer and I won the lottery, that would be good too

I voted Albion winning the FA Cup, while I'd love it if England could do it in Brazil I don't think anything could rival seeing our lads lifting the cup. Would be even sweeter if Barnes got the winner

I've no interest in rugby, so forget number one for me. Promotion to the Premier League would be good though.

1) Brighton promoted
2) Peacehaven promoted
3) Palace Relegated

Sorry, for me national pride trumps club loyalty every time. No one remembers who won the 1966 FA Cup, but many people will be able to recount each of the WC winners of the past 50 years.

I know, I know, bloody tin-pot, plastic JCL mentality.

Everton beat Sheffield Wednesday 3 - 2, and I ONLY needed to look it up to check, because I had remembered correctly.

I wouldn't normally remember such things - I was at an impressionable age.

And I voted for Albion to win the FA Cup.

I'm sure Everton fans do. Your comment is similar to saying "no one remembers the 1983 cup final" funny that as I can remember every pass, tackle, shot, foul, corner, goal and song sung!
