o/t buses brighton to burgess hill, haywards heath?

If you choose The Sussex Bus, you can get five days travel to Brighton for £25.20. If you prefer Metrobus, a one week Metrorider will cost you £25 from the driver, or £23 if you buy one on-line, using their smartcard.

And, no - the two companies don't accept each other's tickets.

A weekly rail season ticket is £33.10 from Haywards Heath, £28.20 from Burgess Hill.

Lord B you omitted the 40x and 33 Sussex Bus to Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath, the 271 metro bus to Burgess Hill and 273 which goes by passes both town but goes onto Crawley so dependant on where you want in either town that could possibly be an answer.

Buses from Brighton to Burgess Hill aren't too bad as there is a fairly regular service. It is a fairly straight run up the A23 bus lanes and onto the A273 so if you are travelling from the City centre or anywhere near the A23 the bus is not a bad option. Not sure I would want to go as far as HH on the bus as that is a longer journey and the train is much quicker.

That is debatable if you worked at e.g Princess Royal Hospital and had to get from HH station either walking or by bus to the hospital.Similarly if you worked on the Victoria Industrial Estate. Not wishing to start an argument just making a point.
