Matthew Upson all smiles after scoring

Matthew Upson scored the only goal as Albion became the first team to win at Middlesbrough since the opening day of the season.
The home side were unbeaten in eight games at the Riverside but Upson headed home on 86 minutes to shatter that record.
The goal capped a man-of-the-match display from Upson who was outstanding at the back.
The in-form Ashley Barnes went close to breaking the deadlock on ten minutes with a post from Craig Conway’s corner which struck a post.
Conway, in the final game of his loan spell, was giving Middlesbrough problems and it was from his cross that David Lopez fired a low left-footed shot into the arms of Shay Given on 17 minutes.
There was a concern for Albion when Matthew Upson was forced off with a head injury which required treatment, although he returned a few minutes later with a white headband and a new shirt.
Other than that there were not too many worries for Albion in the first half, even though the hosts came back into it.
Their best chance was a 25-yard strike which Peter Brezovan turned around his near post while Upson was off the pitch and then just before half-time Lukas Jutkiewicz failed to get any power or direction on his header when he in a good position.
Early in the second half Stephen Ward, who shrugged off a foot injury to play, tried his luck from 28 yards and Shay Given pushed his shot over the bar for a corner.
The bandaged Upson twice came to Albion’s rescue before the hour-mark, firstly clearing a dangerous George Friend cross from in front of his own goal and then getting the ball away again after Carayol drove it across the face of goal.
Oscar Garcia responded with a positive substitution, bringing on Kazenga LuaLua for David.
The home side got a grip on the game and began to stretch Albion without troubling Brezovan.
Leo Ulloa made his return from a fractured foot bone which ruled him out for nine games with seven minutes remaining.
The deadlock was broken on 86 minutes from a corner which Middlesbrough disputed.
Conway whipped it in from the right, Upson headed into the ground and the ball bounced up into the net.
Albion: Brezovan; Bruno, El-Abd, Upson, Ward (sub Calderon 75); Bridcutt, Ince, Crofts; Lopez (sub LuaLua 60), Barnes (sub Ulloa 83), Conway. Subs not used: Andrews, Dunk, Agustien, Walton.
