1. Punish Celtic by forcing them in to the League Of Ireland where they belong.
2. Promote Rangers to English League 2 (collateral damage)

Benefits:
1. Scottish football would be competitive again
2. No more horrid old firm games, the savings in Police costs would make Scottish Independence viable and I'd no longer spend my taxes on feeding their poor.
3. Ireland-Scotchland ferry services would prosper
4. Rangers fans would not wave bloody Union jacks about anymore
5. Lots of small English sides would get to beat Rangers including Crawley
6. The odd Irish side would get to beat Celtic

Oh. . . . and there may be less violence and vitriol.

 Gimme the job!

There's a great irony in football clubs clapping Nelson Mandela a week earlier and yet Bobby Sands and William Wallace images are not allowed.

Don't see what the problem is...William Wallace (Scottish) and Bobby Sands (Irish) represent the Scots/Irish cultural identity of Celtic fans, and their fans put on some fantastic displays. Barca used to be punished under Franco for displaying the Catalan flag which represented their cultural identity, but it's now accepted. I hope no-one will take issue when I roll-out my Norman Wisdom/Des Lynam "Legends" banner at the Reading cup game...

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Wasn't Bobby Sands a member of some Irish terrorist outfit?

Typical UEFA,only interested in banners they can make money from.Racially abuse a player and your club gets fined 20,000 euros, Protest you are being abused, get a game ban.
Beat up and stab innocent fans in a boozer the night before a euro game and your club gets a slapped wrist but wear Paddy Power underpants and you will get an 80,000 Euro fine.
Wear a T shirt with a message to your family after you score and they will hang you.
You WILL remember the first rule of UEFA.
THE ONLY SLOGANS,MESSAGES OR ADVERTS ALLOWED WILL BE.
ONES THE EARN MONEY FOR UEFA.
