Read it and you can't argue against it. I thought it was a decent article, except the line " nobody wants to win the Ashes more than us", as clearly the Aussies want to win it more.

It's part and parcel of the job.

Contractually, he probably needs to do it. He is the deputy, so well placed to do it.

I fail to see anything wrong with Prior talking to the press. It's his job.

Thought Prior gave a good account of himself second innings. We will struggle to rescu this series but i don't think Prior will be held to task. Think he along with Broad, Root and Bell will show what they are made of. Lets hope our "senior" players like Cook and Anderson can turn up.

He is the deputy captain. And Bell's saying much the same in the Independent/I today
