Brez 8 assured performance as replacement, several cracking saves
Bruno 7 worked well with Lopez
Ward 7 classy
Greer 6 was only on the pitch long enough to have a degree of blame for Leicester's early first chance
Upson 7 solid, great leap which could have resulted in a penalty
Ince 8 a few more performances like that and we can drop the use of the word 'prospect'
Bridcutt 7 great to see him complete 90mins .... looks like Ince allows him to push on more, expect goals soon
Crofts 6 didn't seem to be involved in many of our best moments (by the way I think 6 is a good performance)
Lopez 8 would be 9 if he'd carried first half form into second half
Conway 7 great movement and crosses
Barnes 8 very narrowly MOM ahead of Ince and David

El Abd 7 great job as early sub
Lua Lua 6 helped stretch Leicester and put them back on the back foot

BTW I am very mean with my ratings

Brezovan 8.5 Some good saves and kicked the ball out to OUR players!
Bruno 7 Much better
Ward 7 Kept leaving their right winger in acres of space but got forward well
Greer 6 Ok, but injury got him early
Upson 7 Much better than Barnsley
Ince 9 I bloody love this guy. What a prospect
Bridcutt 7 Typical performance of class and composure
Crofts 6 Worked hard
Lopez 8 Great first half, then nose-dived in second. Promising signs of previous form though
Conway 8 Really grown into the team
Barnes 9 Battered about ALL match, arguably the least obvious foul (& the only one the ref gave) was the penalty MOM

El Abd 7 Typical bullish performance
Lua Lua 7 Really stretched the game and the outlet we needed

The best performance I've seen under Garcia and also the most entertaining Championship match at the Amex I think, it was a cracking game which ebbed and flowed wonderfully.

GK Brezovan - 7.5 - A fine display considering the layoff.
RB Bruno - 8 - His best match of the season so far.
LB Ward - 7 - Continues to be a very consistent performer this season.
CB Greer - 6 - Hopefully not out for long, but ably deputised by El-Abd
CB Upson - 8 - A wonderful block in the first half the highlight of another assured display.
CM Bridcutt - 8 - Would like to see more of the Bridcutt & Ince partnership.
CM Ince - 9 - MOTM An imperious display from the youngster, who will go far.
CM Crofts - 7 - As always industrious, played one superb first time ball from right to left in the first half.
LM Conway - 8.5 - Worked his nuts off, but produced moments of real quality to accompany it.
RM Lopez - 8.5 - Great first half display with two majestic assists to set us on our way.
Str Barnes - 8.5 - A complete contrast to Tuesday's performance, led the line well and was always a target.

Subs - El-Abd - 8 - Considering his lack of first team action a great comeback.
Lua Lua - 7 - Great to see him back, injected some much needed pace on the break second half.

I'm giving 8.5's for them all except Greer & LuaLua as one was injured from the start and the other was just coming back from injury so nowhere near his normal standard yet. Great team performance.

First 20 minutes was like watching a highlights package and it carried on in that vein. Good fun

As atrocious as we were versus Barnsley, we were simply sublime today......

Brez - 8 - assured
Bruno - 9 - outstanding
Greer - 7 - did well to carry on for as long as he did
Upson - 9 - another great display
Ward - 8 - far better than vs Barnsley
Bridcutt - 7 - good performance, more games will help, lost a few 50/50's in the first half, but got better as he went on
Ince - 8 - must be a permanent fixture on the team-sheet
Crofts - 7- hard working
Lopez - 9 - finally he's returned.......... took long enough.
Conway - 8 - great control and finish
Barnes - 9 - outstanding, with little protection from ref.

AEA - 9 - Came on and attacked everything. After the little football he's played my MoM
KLL - 7 - some great runs

Ince was your MOM but different people have different opinions, Any of our players could have got it as it was a great team performance but Barnes scoring 2 goals and winning the penalty was probably justifiable enough for him to get the award today.

Brez 8 Great return considering little time to prepare
Bruno 8 Almost back to his best. Best game of the season by far
Upson 8 Couple of loose passes but composed
Greer 6 Nothing wrong, but subbed early
Ward 8 Underated by a lot on here but very rarely has a poor game. Stop comparing him with Wayne Bridge
Bridcutt 8 Getting back to his best. Looked more at ease with Ince alongside him after Tuesday
Ince 9 Gets better every game. Would have beaten Barnsley if he had started.
Lopez 8 For his first half performance and two great assists. Needed to continue it into the second half, but best performance of the season.
Conway 9 Need to get him signed up. Him on one wing and Lua Lua on the other looks good.
Barnes 8 Mr marmite does it again, but you can't keep a good man down. Always gives 100% even if his first touch is sometimes lacking.
Crofts 6 Needs to move the ball quicker, often got caught on the ball and struggled to get into the game.

El Abd 8 Didn't do his chances of a run in the side any harm. Think he and Upson would be stronger pairing as he gets the ball forward quicker than GG and looks more comfortable on the ball.
Lua Lua 7 Not much time but enough to show that we miss his pace on the break especially when we have the lead and opposition stretched

Brezovan 8 - Comfortable, very good distribution, but fortunately didn't have many tough shots to deal with. Nice to see a keeper hold the shot.

Conway 8 - well taken goal and some good rns down the ring putting them under pressure
Barnes 8.5 - Still throws himself to the ground too much. Was a very soft penalty

As great as the win was, and as positive as the performance was, there were still too many times that they seemingly just walked through us, and the midfield went missing shortly before they scored until we got the third. The defence would stop a leicester attack, would have no short to mid range passes, so hoofed it to barnes, who would be swarmed by leicester players and they would attack again. Didn't cost us today, but something to be aware of and not to think every thing is fine now. We need to have the same desire to get the ball and win when we play less glamorous teams.
