Head coach Oscar Garcia and goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak are up for the Manager and Player of the Month Awards for November.The nominations highlight the tremendous month the Seagulls had, as Oscar lead Albion to three wins and one draw, with impressive wins over Doncaster, Blackburn and Wigan before ending with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.
Albion hit eight goals in a prolific month while Kuszczak is nominated after conceding just two goals.
The Pole made numerous stops to keep the Seagulls’ opponents at bay, most notably his spectacular last-minute save to deny Grant Holt at the DW Stadium.

Manager of the Month Nominees
Oscar Garcia (Brighton & Hove Albion)
The Spaniard quietly restored resilience to Brighton while developing their passing style. His team earned 10 points from four matches, three of them away, including a 1-0 win at fellow promotion hopefuls Wigan Athletic.

Brian McDermott (Leeds United)
Nine points from a possible 12 instilled a consistency during November which has made his side genuine promotion contenders. Has fashioned a well-rounded forward line which attacks at pace.
Dougie Freedman (Bolton Wanderers)
Re-affirmed faith at the Reebok as he led his side to three successive victories. The away wins at Bournemouth and Watford were built on a sound defensive platform and hauled Bolton out of the bottom three.

Nigel Pearson (Leicester City)
Has developed his side into a thrilling attacking force, going forward at will and creating chances aplenty. Three wins from four games took Leicester to the top of the Championship table with eight goals scored.

Player of the Month Nominees
Tomasz Kuszczak (Brighton and Hove Albion)goalkeeper
Conceded just two goals in four games and displayed a wide array of shot-stopping and smart reactions to keep clean sheets in the victories over Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic. Was also vital in preserving a point away to AFC Bournemouth.

Ross McCormack (Leeds United) -striker
Was in irresistible form, scoring seven goals with his direct running and willingness to shoot. Followed up two fine finishes against Yeovil Town with all four Leeds goals in the 4-2 win at Charlton Athletic, including a sumptuous free-kick.

Andre Wisdom (Derby County)
full-back
On loan from Liverpool, he added a potent combination of pace and power on the right side of the Derby team. His refreshing attacking play was supplemented with solid defending for a side which conceded just two goals.

Lloyd Dyer (Leicester City)midfielder
The all-action force behind Leicester’s rise to the head of the Championship. Forceful strikes against Watford and Millwall supported his runs at pace which had defenders chasing shadows and created openings for others.
