Two good footballing goals and showed how painfully slow our back four is. We let them have space and they played well in it. I clapped both goals (a bit) and i'm not a jcl. Very disappointed in us tonight but on that display i hope Barnsley stay up. Even saying that though, without Butland we might have scraped a draw.

You clapped their goals? You probably booed us off at half time too. Jesus.

Apart from the odd bit of time wasting (particularly their keeper) I thought they approached the game the right way. Good movement up front, a willingness to get people forward at pace and some nice passing that left our back chasing shadows on the odd occasion. They were more positive for most of the game and deserved the points.

We were very poor and some players have been able to coast too much this season due to a lack of competition. Time for a midfield cull.

Hello son. Sorry, i can't help clapping a good goal when i see it, they left our players on their arses. I have never booed te albion (well maybe the 1-5 v stoke) and never left before thefinal whistle has blown. I love Albion but it is only football.

Barnsley played out of their skins first half. We were outpassed and outclassed, we just looked clumsy and very very ordinary. Not much better second half either.

Two goals of individual skill and style. We didn't have players like McCourt and Mellis who can, you know, dribble. And go past players without passing it around them.

Hopefully Oscar saw the type of player we're clearly lacking.

Their first goal was horrendous defending and the second wasn't much better.

I clapped their first goal and was surprised nobody around me joined in. Their second was just down to very poor defending though so I just had a frustrated rant about Oscar's team selection for that one.

1st goal could of been avoided if we put a challenge in and second was a well worked goal

Brighton / Hove actually
Barnsley got their heads down, did their job and 1-2 flattered us to be fair.

After the first 10 mins a loss was predictable and not only did Barnsley walk their first goal in, they had the cheek to do an exact carbon copy for the second.

Depends, few goals are "unstoppable", most can be put down in part to poor defending (poor positioning, not tackling, lack of pace etc). I was impressed at the barnsley players' desire to attack and pass through us.

You probably did this.... I bet you did that...... You and the other berk earlier make a lot of assumptions, assumptions that make you look stupid. I told you what i did, i gave a couple of claps, after a pause, to two good goals. I don't watch the Albion through blue and white tinted spectacles, only an idiot does that.
As for stevie g, always thought he was overrated and the england team should have been fit around lampard.

I suppose if you were a Nazi, you'd have clapped Pele's goal too, wouldn't you?

Wow, Pele must be older than I thought if he played during ww2! Maybe there is something to Viagra after all.

Another half wit from the I bet you'd.... You're the kind who... Brigade.

I tend to enjoy the football whether we win or lose because I can be objective. If that makes me a bad fan in your eyes then so what, couldn't care less. It's just a game dear.

For those still making assumptions, I shout and sing and support the team thanks!
