Had to happen.

Gus was impatient. Fulham might have been a better bet for him.

Anyway, Gus who? We're on the roll with Oscar.

Brighton / Hove actually
The end of season relegation fight will be between Stoke, Fulham, Sunderland and Palace.

I don't mind Fulham hanging on for another season as I would like to see the other 3 in the Championship. They are very poor though.

Got a feeling that Gus may save Sunderland.

Will Meulensteen be Fulham's preferred candidate for the managers job ?

not at all.......clearly Gus will keep his powder dry until AVB is sacked at totteringham :lolol:

Funny you should say that, according to sunday supplement this morning Gus is (allegedly) on the (long) shortlist they have, as a professional club, for when/if AVB goes. Not sure there is an immediate danger of AVB going - they before this afternoon's game they were one point ahead on the same point last season and have had to bed in a whole bunch of new players.

AVB could be in more danger than results suggest. Turning on the press makes enemies. Turning on the fans is almost suicidal. The axe might not be so far away.
