Albion produced their first hint of danger when Conway spotted Barnes’ run and curled an inviting ball which the striker was just unable to meet.
But Cherries were making the early running. A foul by Calderon after had Fraser had got away from him offered them a chance to drill in a free-kick from the left edge of the box but Albion cleared.

Cook’s recall was a double boost for the hosts. As well as being their best defender, he also has a useful long throw. His first delivery was allowed to bounce in the albion box before ref Moss whistled for pushing by a home player.
It was a bright start by the Cherries though, who had the wind behind them. Fraser got past Calderon and fired in a low cross that was cleared, then Ritchie had a run on the other flank and Kuszczak had to dive low to his right to gather his cross.
Daniels whipped in a free-kick from near halfway and Elphick, who had rumbled forward, headed it down inside the penalty area – but not to any team mates and the ball bounced behind for a goal kick.

For those watching on TV, the Albion fans are on the same side as the cameras occupying almost half that stand - at the end closest to Kuszczak in this first half.

12:11pm
Team news as expected for Albion – but not for Bournemouth. Inigo Calderon replaces the banned Bruno as the only change to the Albion XI. That means the bench again includes Liam Bridcutt, Andrea Orlandi, Leroy Lita and, today, Keith Andrews after a calf injury.
On the home side, though, there was on the face of it a turn-up with Steve Cook passed fit after reports in midweek that he had suffered ankle ligament damage.
Cook, who is regarded by many as the Cherries’ best player so far this season, starts in central defence alongside Tommy Elphick.

Albion are back on the road. But a bit closer to home today as they hunt a hat-trick of away wins. It’s an early kick-off along the coast at Bournemouth as a nice interlude to trips to Doncaster, Wigan and then Middlesbrough. Having said that, those treks to the Keepmoat and the DW were quite enjoyable and brought rich reward on the pitch for the Seagulls with six points out of six. Can they keep the run going against what is likely to be a well organised Eddie Howe side here at the Goldsands today?
