I did this for the play-offs - worked fine, although I resent giving Sky my money. Didn't require much set up time, but give yourself a few minutes to check it all works ok.

Believe if you go and buy a carling multipack from a supermarket it comes with a free day pass. Multi pack is less than the tenner cost of the pass too, that's what I'll be doing

Would not buy the £9.99 pass from Now as that is a complete rip off, however the Carling deal is even worse, how would I dispose of all that piss poor beer. ?

Edit : 12 bloody cans of it....

It is a rip off but if I go out in east london I'll drink six pints at 5 quid a pop, eat for 12 quid then probably spend 20 quid on ridiculous football bets in a drunken stuper. Its best if I stay at home in my pants where im safe from the world.

This is precisely why I prefer to stay in and spend a tenner.

And whilst its still lining Murdoch's pockets indirectly it doesnt feel as bad sort of like giving him a handjob whilst wearing skiing gloves.

I think that the BTVision deal has certainly upped the ante, Sky have to hold on to their flagship rights to the Premiership and it's going to cost now BT are in on it. Expect the double whammy of increased charges for viewing and a more aggressive approach to backdoor tv streaming to close cheap/free alternatives.
