He's been reading NSC and adopted the tone of one or two posters.

Coyle bigging up 'both' fans (he might as well have said that) in his post match interview was embarrassing.

To be fair though, when you look at their squad and substitutions yesterday then on paper they should be beating teams like us.

It's basic maths. Relegation from Prem + losing Martinez + Europa League + mediocre support = Transitional season.

It's telling that this guy has been a member of the Wigan forum for eight years. So he joined up the season they made the Prem. bless him, he thinks Wigan are a big club.

Does ANYONE believe Wigan are a big club? Even when they remained in the Premier League by default, nobody was that impression, Shirley?

Pathetic little club.

...and why exactly should they be 'walloping teams like us'?

It was an average game, in which no team really stood out, but we won because we took our chance and then defended well to keep the lead. They had a couple of chances throughout the game to score which they messed up. So why some fans have this self righteous attitude is laughable. Wigan will not get promoted until they get over the fact that they are not the biggest team in this league.

Saved me writing it.

Although we've got quite a few internationals ourselves these days.

Traditionally they are fourth division, but they've had some decent teams recently. I also admired their style under Martinez. He was a big loss to them.

I don't see what's pathetic about a small club getting into and staying in the Premier League.

The most curious thing..
Wigan are a small club that had a sugar daddy who paid for a new stadium and team - sound familiar?

Not really no. We're not a small club like they are, just a medium-sized club that's massively underachieved due to unscrupulous owners.

We've spent the vast majority of our history in the Third Division. That was before Bellotti and Archer.
