JFC's header which created the goal was superb

as was the save which stopped it going in, felt slightly sorry for the keeper as Crofts header floated over his head

The good news for JFC and Ince is that Gus isn't here anymore

Think we look so much stronger this year for some reason. And todays performance just shows the depth we have in the squad, Orlandi, Agustein and Bridcutt all can't get into our team. Lualua, Buckley, Ulloa, Hoskins and CMS still to come too!

Really think we have the strength to go up this year, similar position to last year but with a stronger team IMO. Would be so so so sweet if we go up this year, and can wave past Gus and Palace as they both go down...

Its All Too Beautiful
Poyets 'glass ceiling' was about his temperament, when it came to the real deal he was found wanting. Our manager is getting about his business this year without shouting his opinion on subjects that have nothing to do with him. I think the Championship is more open than last year and will be a marginal thing. I see that OGs team is mentally tougher on the pitch than Poyets, this will count when we approach the back end of the season.

Silly old bat
Tony Bloom has admitted that he thought the playing budget would be smaller this season, but that PB had managed to make significant cuts in other areas during the summer, so enabling the budget to be the same.
JFC did play first team games but then got injured. Ince had only just arrived in the spring.
Don't let facts get in the way of an Nsc thread.

Poyet did play young players but only when more established players were injured; when they returned, the youngsters resumed life on the bench/in the development squad.

It will be interesting to see how Garcia continues to handles the situation.
