Andrew Crofts has received the all-clear to continue his run as an integral part of Albion’s midfield.
He has been passed fit for today’s visit to Wigan after withdrawing from the Wales squad during the international break to rest hamstring and groin niggles.
Head coach Oscar Garcia said: “He rested last week. This week he has been taking part in training and he is okay.”
Crofts has started 14 of Albion’s 15 Championship outings under Oscar and is joint top scorer on four goals with injured striker Leo Ulloa.
Oscar has Liam Bridcutt and Andrea Orlandi back in contention together for midfield places for the first time since the opening day defeat at Leeds United.
Bridcutt could start after recovering from a knock on the knee sustained on his comeback from injury as a second-half substitute against Blackburn at The Amex a fortnight ago.
Orlandi, restricted to two appearances so far this season by a knee injury which eventually required surgery, is expected to be among the substitutes.
David Lopez’s place will be under threat if Oscar decides to throw Orlandi straight back in, with winger Will Buckley still sidelined by hamstring trouble.
Keith Andrews has not been able to train after missing the Blackburn victory with a calf injury and is unlikely to be involved.
Ulloa, meanwhile, is on course for a mid-December return.
