Following on from the covers thread:
At some point in your life someone will tell you that a song in the charts is actually a cover version. You then need to hear the original.
Some are completely different from the version you know:
Some are superior and you wonder why they weren't hits:
Some deserve to be heard by more people:
Some make you realise that geniuses were writing songs before you were born
