3) Squad players given 1st team game time. This means we will have more experienced fringe players when we continue to get injuries and suspensions during the rest of the season. Also less fear using them as subs as more experienced players suffer from fatigue in games later in the season. The more players we have with 1st team experience for the run in the better.

The emergence of JFC and Ince and the re emergence of Crofts being the icing.

4) Talking of suspensions, we shouldn't fall foul of December 5 card suspensions for key players.

5) more leeway given to Oscar as he gets to know the English game and less pressure, bizarrely. It would not have been fair to compare him to Gus immediately, but this would have happened if we had not had so many injuries.
