Albion skipper Gordon Greer has been awarded his first Scotland cap - at the age of 32.
The Glaswegian starts in central defence in tonight’s friendly against the USA at Hampden Park.
Greer partners Grant Hanley of Blackburn in central defence.
Seagulls loanee Craig Conway starts further forward.
Meanwhile two Albion left-backs will be in opposition in Dublin as the Republic of Ireland face Latvia.
Stephen Ward starts for the Irish and his Albion understudy Vitalijs Maksimenko keeps his place in the Latvian side.
