Dick Knight has revealed the disputes behind the scenes when Tony Bloom took over as Albion chairman.
The disagreements between the pair when Bloom became chairman in 2009 after offering to fund most of the £93 million cost of building The Amex have been exposed by Knight in his autobiography, Mad Man.

The ex-chairman turned life president of the Seagulls claims Bloom:
- *Rejected becoming vice-chairman so Knight could show him the ropes while the stadium was built
- Refused Knight’s idea of a handover of the keys to The Amex before the first match Knight also claims he recovered only £400,000 of the £1.8 million he had put into the club.
