Judge had a hint of a chance as he cut in from the left but he dragged his shot tamely wide from the edge of the box.

3:13pm
It was, to say the least, an undistinguished start with neither side able to string passes together.

3:09pm
Ince needed treatment early on after being upended by Williamson. Bridcutt went for a warm-up jog down the touchline in case he was needed and was met with a rapturous ovation from home fans.

3:08pm
Blackburn were using King just off Rhodes with Judge wide on the left. But the two can interchange.

3:06pm
Conway started on the right wing for the Seagulls with David Lopez wide on the left.

3:04pm
No change of ends - the match is in progress

3:04pm
We have just had a few moments of silence and reflection to make Remembrance Sunday. The teams lined up and fans stood as Oscar Garcia and Gary Bowyer laid wreaths on the pitch. Four buglers played The Last Post. The family of Lance Corporal Jay Brynin, the Albion fan who lost his life in Afghanistan recently, were present at pitchside.

It has been a long time – but mid-afternoon football returns to The Amex today for the first time since September 21. Bolton were vanquished that day. Their neighbours Blackburn visit today looking to build on a last-gasp 2-2 draw at Blackpool followed by a 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough last week. It should be another tough one for the Seagulls. But a repeat of that result on Spanish Day would suit them fine.
