Jake Forster-Caskey is set for his fourth start in five games against Blackburn tomorrow
* Jake Forster-Caskey is getting his teenage kicks in the Championship.

* Now Albion want their talented midfielder to kick on and learn from the highs and lows crammed into one game last time out at Doncaster.

* Forster-Caskey launched the Seagulls' 3-1 win early on with a stunning strike from 35 yards.

* In the first half he took a booking for the team by grabbing Suk-Young Yun as Doncaster's on-loan South Korean international threatened on the counter-attack.

* In that instance Forster-Caskey displayed an old head on young shoulders but his relative inexperience showed in a second half incident, with Albion well-placed to counter-attack themselves.

* His intercepted pass led to the free-kick which then led to Doncaster's scrappy equaliser.

* Forster-Caskey was not on the pitch when Albion clinched victory, courtesy of late goals from his replacement Leroy Lita and another substitute, David Lopez.

* It was an educating afternoon for a 19-year-old beginning to make his mark under Oscar Garcia.

* The head coach's assistant, Nathan Jones, said: "He will learn. It was a fantastic goal, which is stuff we have been working on with him, because he has more ability than he has been showing in terms of goalscoring opportunities.

* "The booking was clever, because it stopped their counter-attack. You would take it and then he had to manage his game and then he was sloppy in his play, because he likes to come in on his left foot. It might have been a different game then.

* "We'll sit down and chat with him about that kind of stuff but we're pleased with Jake. He's what we preach here."
* Forster-Caskey will start his fourth game out of five under Oscar against Blackburn at The Amex tomorrow as part of the midfield triangle with former Rover Keith Andrews and Andrew Crofts.*

* His spectacular shot at Doncaster ended a 22-month goal drought for Albion.
*
* He scored three times in 13 starts on loan to Oxford United in League Two last season and has goals in his locker.

* Forster-Caskey notched in back-to-back games against Southampton in the League and Wrexham in the FA Cup when he first burst onto the Championship scene in January 2012.

* A repeat tomorrow would strengthen his claims to keep holding down a place in midfield, where competition is about to intensify after the international break with the return to contention of injured trio Liam Bridcutt, Andrea Orlandi and Kemy Agustien.
