What a wonderful example of international co-operation in the taking of the official Olympic torch up into space and handing it over to an astronaut in the space station. They,re bringing it back on the next available shuttle although it's such a shame that they can't actually light it up there because of the oxygen problems and the danger in the cabins....... Health and safety I think.
Nonetheless it will a great achievement won't it ?

Hey..... I've underestimated them.....they are taking it out on an actual space walk.

What happens if they drop it ? games cancelled or will there be a $billion dollar Russo/US rescue mission ?

But it's not lit? So basically, some people have taken a metal stick into space, correct?

Yeah I think that's about it..... What if the Martians nick it though ? No chance of getting tickets if they host the games.
