Have they sorted out the lag problems yet ? i have not played on sky for months due to the lag .

Lag? What's that Tay?

The amount of time it was taking to make a bet fold ect , a lot of the time i would simply time out and be auto folded so packed in playing on sky .

If you satellite in which this tournament is and grab many seats that are on offer then the Sky Poker UKPC Main Event on the 19th February 2014 at Dusk till Dawn, Nottingham Casino guarantees top prise of £250,000.

I came 2nd the other day and qualified for the £10k Bounty hunter for free which a buy in was £55. Play them all the time, sometimes I qualify but sometimes don't. Need some luck along the way. Good thing about tonight is that there's no re-buys so you'll not get so many people just shoving from the start.

I have that problem on the new tables so I try and stick with the old tables if they're allowing it. I self folded myself with AA the other day using their new software. If I have problems I leave then come back.

Yep sounds familiar , cheers for heads up may give it a go .

tip for freeroll.

1) autofold the first hour and go do something else.

2) after an hour go ALL in the pair you have.....someone will bite......then its a 50/50 chance pretty much if you double up or blow up. if nobody bites, go ALL in three rounds later / or on half decent pocket.

3) then you have a good chance of being in the "final group" with a stack of chips to play with.....then enjoy and play properly.

I like to double up before the first break which is 55 mins and after that I bide my time and when I get to 10,000 then it's game on. Play rather wild when I get above 10k as I do play more if I have nothing and more when I have a good pair or am suited like 8-9.

I hate Sky Poker's software, it's awful. However, do they do many freeroll tournaments? FTP stopped their UK ones, I won one once!

I'm not keen either but the reason I play is because they have been doing UKIPS freerolls for the last month and big ones as well, £50k etc.

It is a back entry into a major tournament. You come 1st then you go to Nottingham for the grand final which is worth £500,000. To enter it'll cost £1,100 so playing for nothing to maybe winning £250,000 isn't nothing to grumble about.

100 places up for grabs meaning you have many chances of making it to Nottingham.

Thats cos your an amateur.
If you check raised the flop and pushed on the river, then double raised the floater, then folded as you always do, you'd still go home early and eat all the sausages.

I did rather well , lasted 3 hands pushed AQ suited got called with a A3 you can guess what happend , goodnight

We need to get the Sunday night poker going again, I miss the piss taking, the laugh and the poker lessons

Worst game ever for me. I had AQ also and went all in on the third hand a
nd was called by 72 and on the flop was two 2s and a 7
