Doncaster boss Paul Dickov admits he thought his side were on top just before they were sent to defeat by Albion.
The Seagulls scored two late goals to secure a 3-1 success at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Dickov said: “In the second half I thought we were much better (than they had been in the first).
“There was a better level of intensity, we got more balls in the box and got back into the game.
“We were the team in the ascendancy “The second goal was a really scrappy goal.
“The ball bounced in the box a couple of times and could have fallen to either team.
“Lita reacted sharper and the third goal was another wonderful strike.”
Dickov revealed his star striker Theo Robinson reported to the Keepmoat with a tight hamstring.
He was left out of the Doncaster 18.
Towering central defender Rob Jones had a nerve problem in his neck when he went up for a header in the warm-up and was also forced out of the contest.
