You don't need to take a massive dslr to games the op uses a small pocket one. It's all in what you take a photo of rather than what you take it with.

Cheers for the comments. Bit of a boozy day in truth as they were knocking out pints of real ale for £2 in town beforehand and we arrived four hours before kick off.
