What a great attitude they had- sit where you want, no problem with standing, and handing out Albion gifts as you entered. A refreshing change.

Agreed. It's not exactly the most intimidating place to visit, so was a bit odd to get such a warm welcome. There seemed to be a concerted effort by Donny officials, with official Seagulls merchandise being handed out on the concourse (what would Paul Barber say - sorry.....only kidding) - which was a nice touch, huge posters of The Amex on display, a tribute over the PA giving a potted history of our troubles losing the Goldstone, the Priestfield and Withdean eras etc. Without prompting, members of their ejections team reassuring Albion fans they would crack down hard on any offensive chanting by home fans towards away fans and also show zero tolerance to pyrotechnics being smuggled in. Quote 'we're expecting trouble from a small minority of home fans.........' but to be honest apart from the drum the Donny fans were like church mice, but there were only 6k of them.

Didn't see any issues over fans standing either.

Overall a pleasurable experience, an Albion away win and 3 points. Thank you Doncaster.
