[h=3]Albion joy after late double[/h]5:05pm Saturday 2nd November 2013 in Albion By Brian Owen
Albion grabbed their second away win of the season – thanks to two late goals from substitutes.
Leroy Lita fired them ahead in the 84th minute as they won 3-1 at Doncaster.
He then won the free-kick from which David Lopez curled a superb 25-yard free-kick over the wall on 90 minutes.
It was a remarkable finale by the Seagulls who, having led at the break through a Jake Forster-Caskey cracker, were on the back foot for almost all the second half.
Chris Brown deflected home a Mark Duffy free-kick on 74 minutes to give Rovers the leveller they deserved.
At that stage they looked most likely to win it.
But Lita broke their hearts with a close range finish right in front of Albion’s fans after a corner had been headed back across goal by Craig Conway.
Forster-Caskey’s strike on eight minutes was a memorable effort as he let fly from at least 30 yards.
Albion right-back Bruno went off with what looked like concussion after bravely getting his head in the way of a David Cotterill shot as his side had to get through a lot of second-half defending.
