The Pistols thread got me thinking

Anarchy on the EMI label, did A&M ever press it?

I've loads of Stranglers imports, but they don't command much value

how about you,any gems out there?

I always think either my copy of Amazing by Kathy Dalton or Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) by the Stones with the original full colour photographs, but I'm no expert!

Sound of The Suburbs by The Members on CLEAR vinyl..

Sold a copy a while back. about 99p IIRC

Best sales I had were OMD - Electricity original pressing, sold for £46, first 3 cure singles, original pressings, about £25 each.

I used to own the self-released version of the Stand Up ep by Throwing Muses, until I sold it for £200.

My top 2 are probably the Teenage Kicks EP on Good Vibrations with the wrap around paper cover and Killing an Arab on Small Wonder - I regularly go through the Record Collector's guide but I find ebay is as good a gauge as any. They are only worth what you can sell them for (if you want to sell them). The one that really surprised me recently was the original gatefold sleeve of Verve's debut LP A Storm In Heaven which went for 50 quid or something daft!

Went through all my records recently and found the most expensive was Maggot Brain by Funkadelic - about 100 dollars.

Also found that a few that are stuck on board and mounted on my wall as art are worth a bit too. Including a Sex Pistols picture disc.

Have The Beatles original mono pressing of the 'White Album'. Also have the original Stones..'Sticky Fingers' with the Andy Warhol 'zip' cover, I seem to recall this was only produced on the first print as it was found difficult to stack & pack the discs for distribution. Still have all the other Stones & Beatles albums, most in mono & first pressings. My wife also has Bill Wyman's 'Je Suis a Rock Star' picture album signed to her with love from Bill!
