Nice stat Seagurn.......

Got to love the FA Cup, a great chance for some of the smaller clubs to have their day. Not that long ago that my home town club Horsham were giving Swansea a run for their money.......

For all those unhappy with the current set up, we could have just drawn away to Corby Town.

Will be looking out for ball 63 as I was born in Sutton and Gander Green Lane was my local ground.

Went to see Ebbsfleet v Dartford with a Fleet supporting friend yesterday. Remarkable 2,800+ crowd, a blood and thunder game, £10 to get in and parked next to the ground. What's not to like?

Oh yeah. Watching on a terrace with a rake so narrow and a roof so low that it was like watching a film in full "widescreen" format. That and the fact that the estuary is a toilet. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon but it did make me glad of our gleaming stadium built into the South Downs.

Pity that Lewes went out to Sutton in the 3rd qualifying round because had they made it through and then won in the 4th qualifying round, they would be looking at a tie against non-league opposition in the 1st round.

Tricky tie for Wolves away to Oldham and hard to see Portsmouth advancing past Stevenage. I think Macclesfield knocked Swindon out the other year, so there's a possibility lightning could strike twice. Grimsby-Scunthorpe is a local derby with rivalry between the two clubs, so that tie stands out. Also if Staines win their replay, a match against Brentford isn't far to go. By contrast if Barrow win theirs, they'd have a long trip to Gillingham. Also, Crawley drawing Hednesford away has that look of a Dr Martens League Premier Division match of the 1990s. Then you have Wimbledon v Coventry to evoke memories of 1987 and 1988. Some good ties in there.
