With terry Christian, always a good watch IMO. One memory that will always stick in my mind wa when Shaun Ryder and Bez were being question by Christian about a story in the press about Ryder behing a rent boy, they were totally out of it eyes barely open then Ryder piped up and said Julie Maguire Is a slag

Shabba Ranks is what sticks in my mind, saying that he believed gay people should be crucified.

That and those revolting bits where people 'would do anything to be on TV'.

Great prog, edgy compulsive Fri night viewing. Worldwide TV debut of Nirvana, Oasis, Charlatans etc - loads of amazing bands. Lots of good clips on YouTube.

I really liked the word too. Cypress Hill were effing brilliant on it. Liked the moral stuff they did like highlighting animal cruelty or 'hunting' as the septics seemed to call it.

Years ago, there used to be coach trips from Brighton to The Word, then onto The Ministry Of Sound (back when it had no alcohol license..) all for about £40

When we went, it had some 'circus strongman' type, who put a hook through his foreskin, and lift up an old (no elec) heavy iron with it....

T'was a long, and heavy night... :rave:

Mr Lifto from the Jim Rose Circus Show. Once worked at a university bar in the early 90s when this lot came to do a show net result was many students vomiting or passing out but not due to their alcohol consumption.

Ha brill Mr Lifto...! His foreskin did stretch to the point of 'he might have to stand on something, because he's not going to get it off the ground otherwise..' or it was just going to rip open..

Just what you needed before a late night clubbing..

Or when they got Rod Hull with Emu together as guests on a sofa with Snoop Doggy Dogg, both oblivious to who each other was. So Snoop is not expecting to be physically attacked by Emu. And Rod gets Emu to attack the gangsta rapper, not being prepared for the brutal retaliation that comes his way. Carnage!
