Casper Ankergren
* Albion's development team continued their unbeaten league run at Charlton today, thanks to a combination of Casper Ankergren and the woodwork.

* Ankergren was outstanding between the posts as Simon Ireland's side made it three draws in a row with a 0-0 stalemate at The Valley after starting the season with three straight wins.

* Ankergren, one of four over-aged starters in the Albion side, was by far the busier keeper in the first half after Brennan Dickenson had an early tap-in disallowed for a foul.

* The veteran Dane made several stops but the crossbar came to his rescue in the 35th minute from a ferocious shot by Jack Munns.

* Albion, minus Courtney Richards following the holding midfielder's one-month loan move to Whitehawk, had another let-off early in the second half when Charlton captain Bradley Jordan shot wide from a good position.

* Ankergren denied Tobi Sho-Silva with another save from point-blank range before Joe Pigott curled a 30-yard effort against the crossbar again for the hosts.

* Ankergren refused to concede, a one-handed intervention from Johnson Hippolyte in injury time preserving Albion's undefeated sequence.

* The Charlton line-up included former Albion boss Gus Poyet's son Diego.

* Albion (4-3-3): Ankergren; Hunt (Barclay 89), Rea, Maksimenko, Chicksen; Asmundsson (Benham 77), Harris, March; Goodwin, Barker, Dickenson. Subs not used: Walton, Deen, Davis.
