Crucial few games coming up

Championship so tough , if your buzzing you look at those and fancy 10 Pts . When your struggling hard to see us getting much at all . Fine margins this league so anything can and will happen .

I think, without referring to your quoted stats, I just about agree with that but not yet considering relegation as a serious possibility !

Perseus, Normally I see some merit in your analysis, but....

We don't need 10 points from these 4 matches.

If we are 4 or 5 points off the playoff by Jan 1st, please do not write us off

Can`t see us getting a point from those 4 to be honest , Doncaster always very physical the other 3 are just better teams with far superior players and anyway who will score for BHA

If you look at the final table for last season, the club that finished top (Cardiff) averaged 1.89 points/game and the club that finished 22nd (Peterborough) averaged 1.17. Foe ease of the maths, call it 2 pts/game to get auto promotion and 1 pt/game gets you relegated.

Given we're pretty much at mid table now (albeit with only 14 pts from 12 - which would normally suggest we should be lower than 14th), 6 points from the next 4 games (1.5 pts/game) should comfortably keep us mid-table; 10 would, as you say, propel us up the table.

3-4 points (or fewer) is more like the number to drive us towards the bottom of the table.

Regrettably, on current form, that's about what I think we'll get, unless Lita starts banging them in and Nathan's comments that we're still looking for another loan striker bear fruit.

Eight points is the most we have got in a four game sequence this season. I think that would be very good on current form. And no more injuries.

I said from the start this wouldn't be a great season for us, but people have gone from optimism to despair, I think people are exaggerating a bit, we will finish around mid table. Honestly, this all Blooms fault, took ages to bring in a manager who plays a different style of football to poyet, this has caused our 8 injuries due to lack of pre season, and lets face it, everyone on NSC would pick gus of Oscar, I know I would
