Craig Conway has caught the eye of boss Oscar Garcia in training
Craig Conway is poised for a return to Albion’s starting line-up after shining during the international break.
The on-loan Cardiff winger is on course to play at Yeovil today, with Kazenga LuaLua troubled by a knee tendon injury.
Conway, left out of the Scotland squad, has seized the chance to impress head coach Oscar Garcia during the international break.
He has only played for 76 minutes in the last four matches since his full debut in the draw at QPR last month.
Oscar told The Argus: “He has been training really well during the two weeks of the international break and he is understanding much better how we play, how we want him to play.
“I am very happy with his performance in training. We’ve only had ten players to train with and that helps this kind of player a lot to integrate into the group.”
Injury-hit Albion have won only once in their last seven Championship outings.
Oscar has demanded total commitment from his mid-table side in order to inflict a sixth straight home defeat on next-to-bottom Yeovil at Huish Park.
He said: “We have to have the same desire to win as them, we have to play the same mentality and intensity as them. It will be difficult for sure, it’s a tough game.
“The results of Yeovil are always close. There is not a big difference between them and other teams.”
