Albion Women begin their defence of the Sussex Women’s Challenge Cup when they welcome Eastbourne Town to Woodside Road on Sunday. It will be the first match in two weeks for John Donoghue’s side after last week’s game against Tottenham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Seagulls will be aiming to continue a fine run of form which has seen them unbeaten in five games.
Albion were boosted by the news that Cherelle Khassal will return to full training, however she is unlikely to feature at the weekend, while Sophie Perry also remains a doubt with an ankle and knee injury.
Watford loanee Renee Hector could be in line to make her home debut and a further plus is that Charley Boswell looks set to make her comeback in the reserves after recovering from an ankle injury.
The match kicks-off at 2pm with free entry for all spectators.
Next three fixtures:
Sunday 20th October: Eastbourne Town (H) - Sussex FA Cup, 2pm kick-off
Sunday 27th October: Tottenham Hotspur (A) - Premier League Cup, 2pm kick-off**
Sunday 3rd November: Portsmouth (A)- Premier League Southern Division, 2pm kick-off
