do we have to wait for FIFA to sanction our loan move for Leroy Lita, classing it as 'foreign' , when Swansea and Cardiff both play in our league ?

Complete guess, but maybe he is registered with the Welsh FA and not the English

It's ridiculous as the Welsh FA always seem to drag their feet and we miss out on having the player for a game.

Yes we do, according to FIFA each of the home nations is identified as a seperate country. Swansea is in Wales, we are in England. Each country has it's own national team after all.

The fact that Swansea & Cardiff, (and Newport) play in the Football League, where almost all other teams are English is completely irrelevent,

Do Celtic (say) have to jump through the same hoops to sign a player from Berwick?

Leroy Lita has been given international clearance and is available to face Yeovil Town tomorrow.

The striker joined on loan from Swansea City this week and could make his Albion debut at Huish Park as the Seagulls return to action after the international break.

However none of Albion’s injured players have returned to the squad in time for the trip to Yeovil Town.

Kemy Agustien remains sidelined with a calf problem while Liam Bridcutt (hernia) and Andrea Orlandi (knee) are both still absent, although aiming for a return in the upcoming weeks.

Longer-term casualties Leonardo Ulloa (foot), Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) are continuing their rehabilitations.

Albion’s players will be wearing black armbands during the game in honour of Seagulls supporter Lance Corporal James Brynin, who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this week.

Glovers boss Gary Johnson could hand midfielder Fraser Fyvie his debut after he signed on loan from Wigan Athletic this week.

Fright Night at the Amex. Buy tickets to watch Albion v Watford on Monday 28th October. Under-16s tickets from just £1 when purchased with a full-paying adult or over-65s ticket. Click here for full details.
