If they had batted for the full 50 overs scoring at the 8.3 rate they would have got 418 and that is without the obvious increase the last half a dozen overs normally bring.
What is the highest one day total ?

443 by Sri Lanka according to Wiki - although they were playing the Netherlands. That highest run chase (SA v Aus) listed on the link above is the highest joint total though.
