... writing a reply to the violence thread, I was just suddenly struck by the fact I never stood on the East Terrace at the Goldstone.

I know I spent time in all aspects of the West.
Obviously I ventured into the North, numerous times.
I'm pretty sure I sat in the South, once or twice.
But I know I never watched from the East Terrace.

I'm feeling a little deflated now, I think I need a lay down

You missed a zillion cup of tea from the shack at the top, or in my much younger days of Glen Wilson and Jim Langley a bottle of pop and a packet of Smiths with the little blue bag, courtesy of Uncle Stan my Seagulls mentor.

An interesting thread. I did manage to try out all parts of the Goldstone, except the Lego Stand. But I possibly had more time at it, what with going since the late 50's.

Even with the Amex built, I still hate having to pass the commercial zone that pinched the Goldstone site.

Please add me to the list of dull posters. Sadly I find Stat Brother to be one of my favourite posters. How weird must that be ?

I was thinking the same here about different parts of The Goldstone, and I never saw a game from the Lego Stand.

The northern end of the West Stand terracing was open, I'd have got pretty wet there, on occasion.
