Considering the love of cricket on this board I'm amazed there is no thread on here about the greatest ever, the Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar announcing his retirement from cricket next month.
Desperately sad day for the cricketing family, losing it's most respected member from playing. Andy Flower once said of him there are two types of batsmen; Sachin Tendulkar and everyone else'. I hear India is practically in mourning at this news but they should celebrate a magnificent career as well as mourn the end of it.
He was a joy to watch.
