£18 from Eastbourne with my railcard, going out of Brighton on the daily Bristol train, which I even get a reserved seat on - hopefully i wont be removing anyone on here from it !!

I'm flying down from Southampton - not really.

But If I were to go from the Southampton area, I would probably go by train. The Ground is just about walkable from the station, I would think.

Whilst looking up trains for Bournemouth I did the same for Wigan and Derby in the new year. Prices seem to be so expensive these days it just puts you off. Don't want to drive as then cant drink. Coaches are torture. Blah blah blah....

Pokesdown station is much nearer than Bournemouth Central. About a 15 minute walk.
