A game of two halves if ever there was one. We really were poor in the 2nd half and, if anything, worse when playing against ten men.

Kuszczack 7. Couple of excellent saves in the first half, but couldn't see whether he could have done better with their first two goals.
Calderon 6. Thought he did OK. Clearly not everyone on here agrees.
Greer 3. Shocking pass to give the ball away which lead to their goal (2nd or 3rd?). Generally a poor game with other misplaced passes.
Upson 6. OK.
Ward 7. Our second best player on the day.
Andrews 5. Probably his poorest game for us.
JFC 2. Rubbish. Awful corners and free kicks.
Crofts 7. Played OK and well taken goal.
Buckley 4. His form has deserted him. 2nd half particularly poor.
KLL 8. Worried Forest every time he had the ball. Excellent game. MOM for sure.
Barnes 5. I really thought he was better than this.

Subs:
Lopez 1. Complete and utter waste of space. Pointless free kicks.
Conway 3. Not on long, but didn't see him contribute much.
Barker N/A

OG made some very poor decisions. Why bring on Spanish Dave? Why not start with Ince?

Kuszczak 8 - Some brilliant saves and distributing was better. Had no chance with any of the goals

Ward 6 - Got forward ok, defended ok
Greer 4 - Distribution was very poor and got sucked in for the pen
Upson 5 - Better than Greer but still poor
Calderon 6 - Did ok

Andrews 5 - Not good
Crofts 7 - Busy and worked hard but was fighting a hopeless cause at times
Forster-Caskey 6 - Did ok but struggled to get into the game

Buckley 5 - Deliveries very poor, lots of running into blind alleys. Off form
Lua Lua 7 - Did some very direct running and was the only player likely to do anything of note. Lacked that last touch/shot/cross though
Barnes 5 - Didn't play to his best but he was woefully isolated and had literally no support. I feel for him

Subs:
Lopez 2 - Absolutely pointless and his delivery (gentle floated set pieces onto the CB's head EVERY TIME)
Barker 6 - Average, didn't have much time to make an impact
Conway 4 - Anonymous

Oscar 6 - Picked the right team, the one a lot of us wanted to see, and for the first half we looked good but we absolutely fell apart in the 2nd half. Something isn't right... The players are playing like strangers and are making sloppy basic errors though: short passes going astray, shooting woefully inaccurate, set pieces and embarrassment etc etc

Well I thought Barnes played well and thats two assists in two games and Calde gets 5 points deducted for not getting that simple header on target seconds after completely missing a header in their box

Agree with all this but thought Greer defended well first half. Also we were not good first half, Forest were dominating midfield and looked dangerous.

Absolutely spot on. I would add that Upson's distribution was as bad as Greer's, he just wasn't punished as badly. Garcia made some very poor decisions. Why take off Barnes? He hadn't had a great game but he had provided a very good assist and needed a partner. Barker came on to replace him. He has never scored a league goal. Three wingers on the pitch at 3-1 but all the play through the middle? One more point, what hAs Ward done to lua lua? There were four or five occasions where Kaz just ignored the fact that Ward was the right ball and chose to unsuccessfully take on his man. He had a very good game but his reluctance to pass can be infuriating.

er don't agree about Upson as our Captain and 'leader' Gordon Greer was terrible - his distribution was appalling for both short and attempted long passes - Upson at least won some defensive headers and played the ball effectively to Crofts and Ward and I'd suggest Greer was lucky to get a 4 with Upson 5/6. and JFC ?? Were you at the game - he was weak and too easily brushed off the ball and passing was only OK so maybe a marginal 6. I'd agree that deserving 7's were given for Crofts and LuaLua as they were our best two players on the night.

I'm not sure he agrees with himself.

The other thread

Kuszczak 7 - Made a few comfortable saves look difficult, but made them. And his kicking wasn't noticeably rubbish.
Calderon 6 - Not a bad performance, not a strong one either.
Greer 6 - Only fault was for the third goal, admittedly two separate errors but the criticism of him is out of proportion.
Upson 4 - Rubbish. Doesn't trust Kuszczak, as proven on Tuesday as well, and distribution was terrible. Time to drop him.
Ward 6 - Very ordinary player. A few nice balls down the line to LuaLua, but really nothing special.
Andrews 5 - Not overly effective, but not being played in his strongest position.
Crofts 6 - Good run for the goal, and playing much better than we'd previously seen him.
Forster-Caskey 5 - Needs a run in the team to get his feet under the table and to be more effective.
Buckley 6 - Flashes of class, but that's it. Playing him more centrally is a poor decision.
LuaLua 7 - Caused a real threat with his direct running, but he is a large part of why we're unbalanced. Not for me.
Barnes 4 - Given no real chance by really poor service, but did manage to slice a couple of efforts.

Subs
Dave 7 - Very busy, good passing over all and showed a little taster of his best form.
Conway 1 - Pathetic. Send him back and use the wages we're wasting on him for the striker we OBVIOUSLY need.
George N/A - What chance did our little fella have up front alone?

Oscar Garcia 4 - Appears to be clueless. But impossible to tell at the moment, considering the injury nightmare he's faced.

Which one should I record, ninja?

You seem to have a similar bias against Upson as I do against Dunk. Upson did nothing wrong on Saturday and was strong in his tackle and most passes were simple but to the man so what is the problem Greer on the other hand???
