New Player needed...............at right back

Caldy's a lovely bloke, full of effort, plays with his heart and loves the Albion.........but he's a liability.

Since the beginning of 2013 teams have sussed him out and attack us relentlessly down our right side, usually forcing Caldy into a desperate challenge and picking up a booking. OK Zaha ripped him to pieces in the Play Offs but he did that to loads of full backs, but now every team is doing it to us.

Not helped by Greer's disastrous form.

i don't disagree about Greer but as we found out until we got a decent left back (Bridge) teams will exploit our weaknesses, and all season teams have targeted us down the right. This thread isn't a reaction to tonight's performance but about a pattern over a number of games.

If is was about tonight I would ask questions about Greer, Lopez, the lack of creativity in midfield, the lack of a goal scorer and Buckley's poor decison making......and that B*****d Billy Davies and his coaching team.

Worth a try and he may get his form back, neither Calderon or Bruno are up to this league IMO. Shame we can't find someone of a similar quality to Ward for RB

Lopez is useless everywhere this season. Played right back versus Newport and was hopeless.

I agree with the OP though and the comments about Greer.

We lost because we cannot put the ball in the net and because we start 2nd halves trance like. Both are down to the management,coaching,player recruitment etc.Dont think you can seriously start blaming individuals especially when they are giving their all!

Need to be able to put the ball in to a decent position in the box first.

Calderon is fine as a mid table type player. And that appears to be our target!

Adam should be given a chance over Greer.

100% correct about Greer and this thread.

Greer might get better but I think he may have to be dropped for El Abd first as he's just not cutting it right now.

Andrews should play right back in our best team. I expect Greer could play there as well.

It has been a recognised weak point since we lost to Ipswich away in the first season up. Only good teams will exploit it at the Amex.
